“The sunrise was breathtaking, the whole experience of the color changes is a spectacle. Dan was an awesome tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable, gave a great tour. The top of the summit is very cold, definitely wear layers, you'll be able to leave your extra layers in the van for the switchbacks. You will need to take the layers for the second portion but you can use one of their backpacks or bring your own. The bike ride was very fun. The road is tight but it is totally doable for almost all levels of rider. We did self guided and are not avod riders and we did fine.…”

“The pickup from our hotel was excellent. If you’re prone to motion sickness, I wouldn’t recommend this drive, as the road to Haleakalā is very winding. Our driver, Bill, was fantastic. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, though it was quite cold during the two-hour wait for the sun to rise. Breakfast at the Kumu Cafe in the Maui Tropical Plantation was quite delicious (you have three options to choose from-I chose the macadamia pancakes option). After breakfast, I really enjoyed exploring the plantation grounds. Overall, it was a great tour.”

“For the Canadians:If you are ready to heat sarcastic remarks about Canadians from your bike guide Go ahead!Not me!Tour guide saying you are the 51 st state , when I said definitely not his answer was:oh you re one of them!And went on with very negative remarks about Prime Minister Trudeau and enem the new one Carney! It is not like you have a president that you can be proud of! Remarks like this in a guided tour are totally inappropriate! So unfortunately it is a nice tour but I will not recommend it to Canadians!”

“Joe and Naani were so awesome and kind. Safety was paramount and they were very understanding when my daughter was nervous and just starting the ride. They took the time to speak with her and make sure she was comfortable. And on the other end of the spectrum, they also ensured that my son was able to race down the hill at his own pace with no limitations since he is a more avid rider. Coolest part, getting to do the ride twice! Highly recommend!”
